Sam Taylor · Waitlist · Time free

Tue 28 Oct, 10:00 am was cancelled. It suits Sam: mornings.

With a Call button.

How it works.

  1. A caller asks for a time.
  2. Salutant checks your live diary and offers what is free.
  3. You approve it in To do, or let it go straight in.

What it does.

Your live diary

It books into Halaxy, Cliniko and Nookal using the times your diary really has free.

  • Halaxy diaries are re-read every 5 minutes.
  • Only the practice owner can connect or disconnect it, and disconnecting changes nothing in your software.
  • We’re building the Zanda (formerly Power Diary) connection next: choose Zanda in setup and we’ll let you know when it connects.
Where: Practice › Phone & connections › Practice software

No practice software? Use ours

It books into Salutant’s own calendar, and can check a linked calendar for when you’re busy.

You approve first

Every booking waits for your approval, unless you choose “Put it straight in the diary”.

  • Set it for the whole practice, or per clinician on a team line.
  • Review lets you change the clinician, type or time before it goes in.
  • Cancel and reschedule requests stay in To do until you act, even after your diary syncs.
Where: Receptionist › Rules › Approving bookings

Never says “booked” without checking

Before it says “booked”, it has the caller’s name and number and checks that exact time is still free.

  • If saving still fails after the call, the booking is marked “Needs confirming” and your email says “Action needed”.
Where: Calendar

Waitlist

No time suits? It takes the caller for the waitlist. When a booking is cancelled, To do shows who the time suits.

  • It notes the days and times that suit each person.
  • You can add people yourself with Add to waitlist.
  • Names, numbers and times only, never a reason or clinical note.
