How to Text Clients from Salutant

Summary
Text a client from To do or Conversations: choose Text with reply link (40c) or a plain Text (20c), write your message and send. Texts come from the name "Salutant", which clients can't reply to, so the reply link is how they answer. See the Messages topic.
Step 1: Open the client
On a To do item, click Text (or Reply by text when they've written to you). You can also text from their conversation.
Step 2: Choose the kind of text
- Text with reply link: they read your message on a secure page and can reply there for 7 days. The text itself only says there's a message, with the link, and nothing about their health.
- Text: your message is the text. They can't reply to it. Keep health details out of plain texts.
While their secure page is open, adding another message there is included.
Step 3: Write and send
Write your message and click Send. The button shows the cost, which comes from your balance. From To do, you can tick Mark this to-do done after sending.

Practical practice messages only, such as a time that has opened up or a form to fill in. Never marketing.
